My ex was verbally abusive. He would always say sorry and blame it on his childhood. There's never any excuse for abuse, and I know that now. Just wish I knew it before I met him too.

I should have ran at the sight of him yelling at his mother! A man will often treat his spouse the same way he treats his mother. At least that happened for us. Never again!

If a girl has no friends, run away! My ex had zero friends. Even a bartender wouldn't hang out with her! I convinced myself that she was misunderstood and shy, but she was just unbearable to hang out with by most.

My ex used to isolate me so I only had him to talk to. He had extreme mommy issues and was scared I would leave him. I did leave him, I just wish I had left his crazy ass sooner!!
