Sometimes it lasts much longer than you'd think.

I sometimes regret having my son. I know it's a blessing and a lot of women wish to have a child, but I don't. He's 3 years old and I love him, but I don't feel that connection. I think I have PPD.

I know my son is mine, but it doesn't feel like it. Guess this is what happens when you don't feel a connection when you're pregnant and then still don't after he's out...

Luckily, babies can't hate.

My son is 3 weeks old and I honestly don't feel a connection to him at all.
I'm his mother and also breastfeeding. I'm pretty sure he hates me already.

I had a REALLY hard time connecting with my newborn son. I'm finally starting so I let him sleep in my bed every night to catch him up on lost time. IDC if I'm creating a bad habit. He missed out for his first 10months.

I hate the fact that after 3 weeks I still feel so detached from my son. I don't feel like he's my son. I want to feel that connection that mothers are supposed to have with their children.
