I had a dry wedding. I told people it's because my husband doesn't drink. But, it was really because my father is an alcoholic and he has ruined ever major event in my life.

There was no alcohol at my wedding. But after the ceremony my husband and I snuck out back with the best man, minister, and maid of honor and got baked before the reception . It had been a busy day

I didn't have alcohol at my wedding and we had a very small reception. We got married, cut the cake, took pictures, and left for our honeymoon all before 5pm. Wedding was at 2:30 pm.

Shorter reception = spending less money, right?

My wedding was dry... Only thing I must warn you about is the reception may not last as long, but you are making a wise choice. It should be completely unforgettable for everyone and alcohol impairs judgment and memory

My in laws left our wedding early to go to her other sons (who didn't come) house to get drunk and high since our wedding was dry. (We don't drink)
