I feel sorry for anyone else who's dad is a cop. I respect them, but cops from my experience and observations make terrible fathers. They become broken people.

My dad is a cop and he used to tell me growing up that most people are good people who make mistakes and that "mess ups" sometimes make the best friends. I truly believe it.

My dad is a police officer and I have watched him get spit on and cursed at many times. I've also seen him save a 5 year old boy from drowning in the ocean while off duty. #CopsAreHereToHelp

Two police officers were ambushed and killed close to me. I drunk dialed my mom and bawled because I don't want her murdered.

I know all about having strict parents. Both of my parents are police officers. As a kid, I couldn't even go around the corner to the park with out my parents freaking out
