Sadly some parents never grow up. My mom had me when she was 16 and still acts like she is 16. She means well, but she is a selfish child who can't act like an adult.

I had to be the parent to my mom since I was 5 and at 14 I had to do side jobs just to help pay bills. She is now 55 and acts 15. Some people just never learn.

My mum would rather put men and drugs on the top of her priorities and carrying on like a teenager. I’m glad I’ve got my head screwed on, unlike her.

Dealing with your family isn't always easy.

I help my mom out so much. She’s 49 and I’m 21. Sometimes I feel like it should be reverse, but I couldn’t leave her after my dad left her. Too bad we can't choose our families...
