Me and my little brother grew up with a speech impediment and we used to be bullied for it. So I told him we had an accent and, to this day, he still think it's an accent. He's 16 now.

Grew up having a speech impediment. Made me into a shy person. Still can't pronounce words correctly and going through speech therapy won't help.
