Yeah, I remember the first time I was really aware of racism. I was like 8 or 9 and the guy at the corner shop didn't want to serve my friend but had no problems with me. Racism is alive & well.

When I was in 5th grade I was bullied by a kid for being colored. That was the first time I experienced racism. I was shocked since I was new in the USA and had never experienced it.
